In accordance with New York State law, The Chambers Hotel maintains a strictly non-smoking, vape-free environment throughout all indoor and shared spaces, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, and cannabis.

Mail and packages are accepted only when pre-registered and verified against a confirmed reservation 24–48 hours prior to arrival, and must clearly include the guest’s full name and arrival date. Unverified items will be refused or returned.

Chambers Hotel New York welcomes families and offers spacious accommodations; however, child-specific amenities are limited. The property maintains an art-focused boutique ambiance, primarily suited to adult and business travelers.

Chambers Hotel New York offers 12 distinct room and suite types designed by architect David Rockwell. Accommodations include Standard and Deluxe Queen and King rooms, double rooms, accessible layouts, and select Lofted Duplex suites of approximately 900 sq ft with terraces.

Located in the heart of Midtown, 15 W 56th St places guests within walking distance of New York’s most iconic landmarks. The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is just three blocks south, while Central Park lies to the north, offering access to Gapstow Bridge and Wollman Rink. Fifth Avenue shopping and Rockefeller Center are also just moments away.

The hotel is well suited for business travelers, offering an upscale boutique environment in the heart of Midtown Manhattan with a focus on comfort and productivity. 

The property is well suited for custom room blocks, corporate groups, and social event buyouts, with flexible use of its spaces and private terraces to host gatherings comfortably through an on-site sales team.

Chambers Hotel actively serves the New York wedding and group events market, offering courtesy and contracted room blocks through an on-site sales team.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Early arrival is subject to availability on the day of arrival and cannot be guaranteed in advance. To ensure immediate access, we recommend reserving the room from the prior evening.

Check-in is reserved for guests 21 years and older, with valid identification and a matching form of payment required upon arrival.

An incidental hold of $100 per night is authorized at check-in. Cash is not accepted for this hold, which is released in accordance with standard banking timelines.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out is subject to availability and must be confirmed with the front desk; additional fees apply. Extensions may incur up to 50% of the nightly rate until 3:00 PM, and a full nightly rate thereafter.

Flexible rates are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made by 4:00 PM EST at least two days prior to arrival to avoid charges. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee equal to one night’s stay plus applicable taxes.

Luggage may be stored with our Guest Service Ambassadors from 8:00 AM on the day of arrival until check-in at 4:00 PM. Please note, we do not offer pre-arrival or overnight luggage storage.

Dogs are welcome for a non-refundable $150 per stay fee. We accommodate well-mannered, small to medium urban-sized dogs, suited to our intimate historic property and thoughtfully designed public spaces.

Chambers Hotel is located just three blocks south of Central Park, providing easy access to one of the world’s most iconic dog-friendly parks, as well as nearby dedicated urban dog runs.

Dogs are welcome at Chambers Hotel New York. The property is pet-friendly, with size and breed restrictions and a $150 per stay fee. Complimentary pet beds, water bowls, and select pet amenities are available, subject to availability. 

Chambers Hotel features a 24-hour fitness center, allowing guests to maintain their workout routines at any time during their stay. 

Chambers Hotel does not feature a dedicated co-working space; however, guests may use comfortable communal seating areas for casual remote work. The open mezzanine lounge offers a relaxed setting for work or quiet focus. 

Complimentary continental breakfast is available to all guests daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the mezzanine lounge. 

Chambers Hotel partners with the on-site restaurant Félice 56 to offer in-room dining featuring authentic Tuscan cuisine, espresso, and wine during standard restaurant hours. 

Yes, The hotel interior features ADA-compliant visual strobe fire alarms and accessible doorways for improved safety and ease of movement. 

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for all registered guests throughout guestrooms and public areas. 

The hotel offers on-site valet laundry and dry-cleaning service. Guests may place items in the provided bag with a completed ticket for collection by housekeeping before the morning cutoff, with return delivery to the room typically within 24 hours. Charges are billed to the guest folio.

Yes, the hotel is ideally located near a major Midtown Manhattan transit hub, with several MTA subway lines and bus routes within a 2–7 minute walk. Frequent local and express buses along Fifth and Sixth Avenues provide convenient north–south surface connections.

The hotel does not offer on-site EV charging. Nearby options include Icon Parking (40 W 56th St) with Tesla charging stations and Quik Park (120 W 56th St) with ChargePoint connectors, both located within a short walk. 

Guest Service Ambassadors assist wedding parties by recommending and coordinating third-party NYC limousine, black car, and charter bus services, and can help facilitate individual reservations with preferred providers.

Chambers Hotel is ADA-accessible with step-free entry, 36-inch elevator access, and service dog accommodation. Mobility-accessible rooms include roll-in showers with grab bars, built-in seating, and visual and audio emergency alert systems.

No, the hotel does not offer on-site wheelchair-accessible parking, as it does not own or operate any parking facilities.
